Coach’s Endoresment: Here is what Urbana Varsity Head Coach Gavin Donahue has to say about Chase:

“Chase is a player that is going to give it his all for any coach he plays for.  Some of his strongest attributes are that is athletic and tenacious on the defensive side of the field both on the ball and off the ball, always making it difficult for the opposing player he is matched up on.  Chase is a kid that is very coachable because his desire to grow as a player in order to be a positive contributor on the team because of his unselfishness. and his commitment to the game.”

“Chase has been such a pleasure to coach!  His footwork and ability to pick up tough groundballs are incredible, his stick skills have improved exponentially, and he is extraordinarily coachable.  You tell him to do something, and he does it right away and executes it consistently.  Any college would be lucky to have Chase play for their program, as he’s a very rare find.”

“Chase is by far one of the most hard working and coachable players on the field.  He always gives 100% in practice and in games; I haven’t seen him slow down or quit anything yet.  Is a leader to the team and motivates players when needed.  He  continuously works on his stick skills during his off time and you can see the development through the season.  Chase is very driven on and off the field, he’s a wonderful player, and an even  better person to coach.”
